of Grigory Smirnov’s compositions!
Grigory Smirnov is a pianist and composer, working closely with Eurythmy Spring Valley's school and performing ensemble. His music has been performed worldwide in major venues, such as Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, Tanglewood Festival, Moscow Philharmonic Hall, and the Goetheanum, Switzerland.
Originally from Siberia, Russia, he completed his graduate studies at The Juilliard School, New York, and has been living and working in the United States ever since. In recent years, a number of his compositions have been performed with eurythmy, both as solo and in a group. He also composed special music as part of the ESV Performing Ensemble's program “A Shovel of Stars Overhead: Where to? What next?” and for various fairytales performed by eurythmists.
