Ensemble’s Autumn 2026 Tour
During the Autumn 2026 Tour from October 13 through October 27, 2026, the Eurythmy Spring Valley Ensemble is offering public children's performances, and public afternoon and evening performances in five locations in Oregon, Washington, and Colorado.
Performances for children with Wynken, Blynken, and Nod and The Frog Prince
The program offers Wynken, Blynken, and Nod by Eugene Field and The Frog Prince, a fairy tale collected by the Brothers Grimm, with a selection of poems and music for children.The afternoon performances with The Joan of Arc Story
The ESV Ensemble will share the ever-moving story of Joan of Arc (1412-1431), with a rich tapestry of original music by Grigory Smirnov. She brings us the almost impossible quest to save her country from ravages of an occupying army. Yet, her victory is also the beginning of her down fall, leading to her tragic death. In the end, Her faith in the spirit sustains her. The story will be surrounded by tone eurythmy and poetry pieces.The evening performances with The Storm
The Ensemble is excited to offer The Storm, a pivotal moment in the life story of contemporary activist Julia Butterfly Hill, surrounded by poetry and music by Henry Cowell, Archibald MacLeish, Frédéric Chopin, and Grigory Smirnov, ending with lighthearted pieces and a final movement from Antonin Dvořák’s Dumky Trio
No. 4 with piano, violin, and cello.
