The Calendar of the Soul with its 52 verses is the inspiration behind this festival. Rudolf Steiner composed the calendar to tune the soul as a companion through the year. Later on he also created eurythmy forms for each verse in variously sized groups. This festival will bring all 52 verses to performance in eurythmy in English, as a U.S. premier. The Eurythmy Association of North America (EANA) has gathered groups nationwide (including USA, Canada, Mexico, and Taiwan) to prepare the verses for performance at the festival.
We welcome the general public interested in exploring this remarkable progression through lectures, and artistic workshops in eurythmy, speech, painting, and plant dying. Professional level courses in eurythmy are taught by distinguished teachers in the field from the U.S., Holland, and Germany.
