Frontier
Eurythmy Training is
for those who live at a distance but are able to attend the
School of Eurythmy for four two-week blocks during the year. Between
blocks, work on your own at home, with a local eurythmist as
your mentor.
A new class has been forming
in our part-time Frontier Eurythmy Training. This
program is wonderful opportunity to begin a professional
training in eurythmy on a part-time basis while still
fulfilling other life commitments. In early January,
2011, we offered an exploratory Frontier week attended by participants
from the East and West of the continent. We have an
enrollment period underway now for others to join this
dedicated group, who are ready to begin. The
first two-week block of the training will be June 12 -25,
2011, which will depend on full enrollment in
the class. The beginning of the training in Tone and
Speech eurythmy will include rods and geometric
exercises, as a "tuning" of the instrument, vowels,
rhythms, and contraction and expansion; starting the student
on the path towards "speaking" in movement. Music,
speech, and anthroposophic studies complement these first
weeks.
If
you are a self-motivated person and have been wanting to start
a eurythmy training while honoring your other commitments,
there has never been a better opportunity.
The
application process for the Frontier Eurythmy Training is the
same as that for the full-time training. Click
